EUROPEAN (CE certification)

Our plants are manufactured in compliance with the law provisions in force on system engineering. As a result, EC declarations of conformity are issued as provided for by Directives 93/68/EEC, 93/97/EEC, 91/368/EEC, 93/44/EEC and standards EN 292, EN 294, EN 954/94, EN 60204.


ATEX (explosive atmosphere)

The ATEX 137 Directive deals with explosive atmosphere. The term “explosive atmosphere” (ATEX) means a mixture with air, under atmospheric conditions, of flammable substances in the form of gases, vapours, mists or dusts in which, after ignition has occurred, combustion spreads to the entire unburned mixture.

Products like flour, sugar, starch, etc. create with air potentially explosive mixtures; such provisions also apply to bakeries, pasta-making factories and similar businesses.

As a result, the European Council passed the directive 99/92/EC (or ATEX 137) that sets out the minimum requirements for improving the health and safety protection of workers potentially at risk from explosive atmospheres.

 

FOOD SAFETY (HACCP)

The cleanliness and hygiene of storage and processing premises are regulated by law.

The construction systems and materials are specially chosen to ensure maximum hygiene.

The parts of our systems that come into contact with food products comply with the requirements of:

- Food and Drug Administration (chap. I, par. 177-16)
